Job description

Here at Protocol Education we are searching for passionate and enthusiastic EYFS Teachers to join our successful supply team in Sheffield. If you enjoy assisting children with their first years in an educational environment and would love to be part of helping with school readiness, then this could be the opportunity for you!

The successful candidate will:

  1. Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
  2. Have high enthusiasm and eagerness to encourage learning through play
  3. Have a QTS or equivalent as well as an enhanced DBS.
  4. Be a resourceful leader who is able to read the room and understand each individual child’s needs.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Be able to guide Early Years Practitioners to deliver meaningful early experiences.
  2. Show a good understanding of the balance for adult led and child led activities
  3. Show good communication skills with parents, colleagues and outside professionals
  4. Use the Development Matter Framework to effectively plan provision
