Job summary

Simply Education Ltd seeks an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a specialist Communication and Interaction Unit in Northampton. You will support children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 with a nurturing approach, clear boundaries and engaging learning experiences.

The role offers long-term supply with potential temp-to-perm, full-time hours, and the chance to work closely with teaching assistants and allied professionals to improve outcomes for every child, with a focus on consistency and individualized

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS/primary education experience
• Experience with children with additional needs including communication and interaction needs
• Excellent behaviour management skills

EYFS Teacher - Communication & Interaction Unit

Long-Term Supply | Potential Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time

Simply Education are seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to work within a specialist Communication and Interaction Unit supporting children in EYFS and Key Stage 1.

The provision currently has 7 pupils with a range of additional needs, with capacity for up to 10 children.

This is a role for a teacher who can combine a nurturing EYFS approach with strong behaviour management, consistency and clear boundaries. The successful candidate will need to be confident adapting their teaching and responding to individual needs while creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for an EYFS Teacher who:

• Has strong experience within EYFS and/or primary education
• Has experience working with children with additional needs, ideally including communication and interaction needs
• Has excellent behaviour management skills
• Is confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
• Can establish routines, boundaries and high expectations
• Is creative and adaptable in their approach to learning
• Builds positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries
• Works effectively alongside teaching assistants and wider professionals
• Is resilient, patient and committed to improving outcomes for every child
