Job description

Location: South Manchester

Position: EYFS Teacher

Type of work: Class Teacher

Contract or position start date: 22nd of April

Duration: Daily/ Long term

Full time/part time: Full time

Minimum rate of pay: Paid to scale

Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the EYFS curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  2. Assessment and Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional support.
  3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
  4. Collaboration: Work alongside the EYFS team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
  1. QTS and Experience: It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
  2. Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven't completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course.
Eligibility Requirements:
  1. Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
  3. Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
