Job summary

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated EYFS Supply Teacher to join a number of primary schools in Lewes and East Sussex. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in early years learning.

You will plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons, assess progress, collaborate with staff and families, and participate in school events. QTS or equivalent and EYFS experience are required; strong communication skills are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards for EYFS.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure all students achieve their potential.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes enthusiasm for learning among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and school initiatives.
• Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a EYFS Teacher or in a similar teaching role.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
