Job summary

The Role

• Planning and delivering exciting, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Encouraging children's communication, confidence, independence and development.
• Establishing a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observing and recording children's achievements and identifying areas for further development.
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff to ensure effective learning.
• Maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has previous experience teaching within an EYFS setting.
• Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Is enthusiastic about supporting children's early education and development.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Is confident managing a classroom and supporting different learning needs.
• Is available to start immediately.
