Reception Class Teacher
Location: Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (One Academic Year Initially, with Potential for Extension)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Reception Teacher to join our Early Years team in Hertfordshire from September 2025. This is a full-time, fixed-term role for one academic year, with potential for extension.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable Early Years practitioner to contribute to a supportive and child-centred school environment, delivering high-quality learning experiences that lay the foundation for future success.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have substantial experience in a Reception or Early Years setting

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

  • Create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Use observation and assessment effectively to plan and adapt learning

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Be reflective, organised, and committed to ongoing professional growth
