Are you an inspiring EYFS Teacher with a passion for early childhood development? Do you have the creativity and enthusiasm to give young learners the best possible start?

GSL Education are seeking an engaging and nurturing EYFS Teacher to work in welcoming and supportive schools in Gainsborough. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to build their experience in Early Years settings.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum in a caring, structured, and stimulating learning environment. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting children’s early development and preparing them for Key Stage 1, working with a strong team of teaching assistants and senior staff.

Responsibilities of Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress against EYFS learning goals
  • Establish a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Promote independence, curiosity, and a love for learning

EYFS Teacher Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in an EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
  • Ability to create a warm and positive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
