Job summary

KPI Education is seeking an EYFS Graduate Teaching Assistant for a West Ealing primary school. The role starts ASAP, running for at least one year with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

The school welcomes applicants with EYFS knowledge and CACHE Level 3 qualifications, including those with experience in privates nurseries or preschools. It offers a diverse environment and strong support for early years development.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Childhood Studies degree or CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification.
• Graduate with relevant childcare, education, or psychology credentials is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the seven areas of EYFS learning and development.
• Plan and prepare purposeful play-based activities.
• Support communication, language and vocabulary development.
• Deliver early phonics, reading and number activities.
• Lead focused learning with individuals and small groups.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Observe children and record progress, identifying needs.
