Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support Nursery and Reception pupils across local primary settings in Barnoldswick, Earby, Salterforth and surrounding areas. You will work with 3- to 5-year-olds, assisting phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications with EYFS experience and a willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3-5 within EYFS settings.

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of primary schools across BB18, Barnoldswick, Earby, Salterforth, Kelbrook and surrounding areas that are seeking dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to support children in Nursery and Reception classes.

The Role

• Supporting children aged 3-5 within EYFS settings
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities

• Supporting children's social, emotional and physical development
• Creating a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required

We Are Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within EYFS, Nursery or Reception settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
