Job summary

Senploy is seeking a dedicated SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant for an Enfield setting starting September 2026. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting children with ASC, speech and language delays, ADHD and sensory needs within a structured, play-based environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, fostering communication, confidence and independence while collaborating with teachers, therapists and parents to implement individual plans.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Encouraging communication, interaction and early learning development
• Assisting with sensory play and structured activities
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Following individual learning and support plans
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and parents
• Helping create a calm, engaging and supportive classroom environment
