About the Role

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity for an experienced EYFS SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored interventions that meet the child\'s learning and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN needs in the EYFS.
• Assist in delivering targeted strategies for learning and behaviour.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Work closely with staff and parents to support progress.
• Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (experience desirable).

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience supporting SEN children.
• EYFS or primary school experience essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
