Job summary

EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant

Location: Middlesbrough
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
Contract Type: Contract
Salary: 105 to 110 per day

Do you have a passion for supporting young children during the most important stage of their development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Early Years team!

About the Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education
  • Help plan and lead engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Provide targeted support to children, including those with additional needs
  • Observe and track children's development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Foster a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare / Supporting Teaching & Learning - Essential
  • Experience working in a nursery or Reception classroom
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and inclusive practices
