Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced Nursery Practitioners who want to transition into Primary Schools, supporting children across Nursery and Reception within the EYFS. This is an excellent chance to apply early years expertise in a school environment while developing skills and gaining valuable experience. Location: Sandwell & surrounding areas.

Start: September 2026. Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, term time. Roles: Full-time, part-time, long-term & flexible supply.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A nurturing, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children across Nursery and Reception
• Delivering play-based learning and EYFS activities
• Supporting early phonics, communication and language
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
