Job summary

Operam Education is helping a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest recruit a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for their Nursery and Reception team on a long-term basis with a view to permanent.

You will collaborate with the EYFS teacher, lead small group activities both indoors and outdoors, and support personal care, wellbeing and daily routines for children aged 3–5. An enhanced DBS is required, with two references, and CPD opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (CACHE, NNEB, EYE or equivalent).
• Experience with 0–5 age range in a school or nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the EYFS framework across Nursery and Reception.
• Lead focused activities with individuals and small groups indoors and outside.
• Support children's personal care, wellbeing, routines and independence.
• Work closely with the class teacher and with children who have additional needs as required.
• Help create a stimulating, safe and well-organised learning environment.
• Build warm, professional relationships with parents and carers.
