We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leeds that is seeking a skilled EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified early years specialist who is committed to creating a warm, stimulating, and structured environment where young children can thrive.
As an EYFS Practitioner, you will:
Support the learning and development of children aged 3–5 in Nursery or Reception
Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and contributing to reports
Create a nurturing and safe learning space that promotes exploration and curiosity
Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to support individual needs
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
A relevant early years qualification (e.g. Level 3 in Childcare, EYTS, EYPS, or QTS)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development
A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience supporting children with SEND, EAL, or speech and language needs is desirable
A genuine passion for early years education
Competitive daily pay: £150 – £200 per day, depending on experience
