Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for work in an EYFS or KS1 class?

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working closely with a Primary School based in the BS13 area of Bristol. This school is seeking a Class Teacher to join their team after Easter Holidays.

This school thrives on promoting and improving the learning of all their pupils by having an inclusive curriculum, providing children with great opportunities to develop their curiosity.

The Role

This position is a full-time role where you will be working as either a EYFS or KS1 Class Teacher.

As a 2 form entry school, you will be working with another teacher to plan and deliver exceptional lessons.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has a great deal of knowledge of the EYFS or KS1 curriculum, someone who can bring their own initiative and creativity to the classroom.

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver lessons to a high standard.
  • Have great knowledge of Phonics and reading
  • Communicate clearly with parents and carers to support the children at home.
  • Work closely with other year group staff to provide equal opportunities for children.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
  • Mark and assess children’s development in line with the schools marking scheme.
