Job summary

A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets, London. Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who aspires to be a Teacher?

GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets . The school is lookingfor someone who can start after straight away and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children.

About the Teaching Assistant role:
  • You will be working closely with the class teacher in Nursery to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Individual support should be provided to students in small groups to ensure learning is taking place
Ideal Teaching Assistant will:
  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Support pupils who have special educational needs
  • Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various ages
  • Be helping pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Good written and oral skills
