Job summary

Partou Woodlands Park Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner for a flexible 15 hours per week Lunchtime Cover Assistant role. You will ensure children engage in stimulating activities, support their learning and development in line with EYFS, and provide exceptional care and safeguarding.

You will join a busy nursery team, stepping in to cover lunch breaks and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment while families and colleagues

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS knowledge and understanding of child development.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunchtime cover and supervise children during midday.
• Support learning through play and EYFS activities.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and build positive relationships with families.
