A UK educational institution is seeking an EYFS Nursery Teaching Assistant to assist children at the beginning of their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include supporting children's personal and social development, managing learning activities, and fostering effective communication within the team. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care & Education. This part-time role offers 12.5 hours per week, term-time only, with various employee benefits.
As an EYFS Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will aid students at the very beginning of their educational journey, cultivating strategies to meet each child’s unique needs under the direction of teachers and leaders. The role is based mainly in our outdoor nursery, which has grown and developed in recent years.
The role is term-time, from 8.30am to 3.30pm, two days per week (to be discussed), totaling 12.5 hours per week. This is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2026, subject to ongoing funding.
