Job summary

Malin Bridge Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in FS2. The role requires strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills, with experience in Early Years and with pupils with additional needs.

A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and prior school experience are essential. The successful candidate will support pupils and work closely with teachers to deliver engaging activities, while upholding school policies and promoting inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• Experience in Early Years and with pupils with additional needs preferred.
• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience in a school setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pupil support to meet standards required by the academy and external bodies.
• Support the teacher with planning, execution and feedback on progress.
• Undertake structured learning activities and use ICT to support learning.
• Promote inclusion, manage behaviour and assist with classroom routines.
