Job summary

St Nicholas CofE Primary School is seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across EYFS, in line with the national curriculum and school policies.

The role is part-time, fixed-term, term-time only, 17 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with specific hours including Lunchtime Duty. You will help promote literacy, numeracy and positive behaviour while assisting with pupil work displays and safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children, preferably in EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Establishing positive relationships with pupils.
• Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track.
• Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils’ work.
• Lunchtime Duty.
