Job summary

The post is permanent from January 2027, full‑time with a TLR 2A (£3,527). Salary ranges from £32,916 to £51,048 per annum, with progression and responsibilities aligned to Teachers Main Pay to Upper Pay Range.

Qualifications

• Excellent class teacher with substantial experience leading EYFS.
• High expectations for themselves and learners.
• Successful collaboration as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and the Early Years Assessment Framework.
• Read Write Inc trained (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day‑to‑day service for the Nursery provision, ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support the EYFS team to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with staff, families and external professionals, including support for children with SEND.
