Job summary

Northbrook Primary Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our caring and ambitious staff team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for working with children and a commitment to ensure all pupils make strong progress in their academic, social and independent skills.

Two part-time, permanent roles are available during term time plus INSET days, 17.5 hours and 22.5 hours, starting at 8.30am.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children
• Commitment to ensure all children make the best possible progress in academic, social and independent skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships with children who need additional support in the classroom

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering planned activities.
• Provide encouragement and guidance to pupils to help them reach their targets.
• Contribute to a calm and nurturing learning environment.

Teaching Assistant to join our caring and ambitious staff team here at Northbrook Primary Academy.

provide children with the skills, knowledge, attitudes and confidence which are necessary to enable them to

make informed choices for themselves. The children experience a wide range of learning opportunities that are

intended to develop them academically and personally.
