EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant – Nurturing Primary School – Camden

A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Camden is seeking a compassionate EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to support young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school dedicated to providing a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support children’s learning and development across a range of activities. You’ll help create a stimulating classroom environment, where children feel safe and motivated to explore and engage with their education.

Role Highlights:
Full-time, long-term position within a supportive and caring primary school in Camden
Provide 1:1 and small group support to EYFS and KS1 pupils, helping them develop key skills in all areas of learning
• Support the delivery of creative, play-based learning activities that engage and inspire young children
• Assist with the social and emotional development of children, promoting positive behavior and building self-confidence
• Work closely with teachers to monitor and track the progress of students, ensuring individual needs are met
• Contribute to the creation of a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in early years and primary education

Experience & Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred but not essential
• A genuine passion for working with EYFS and KS1 children and supporting their learning journey
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting children’s development
Enhanced DBS check required for all successful applicants
