Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator in Tonbridge to join our early years team. You will support a key group of children within staff-to-child ratios, helping their development, learning and wellbeing.

You will have knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and best practice, and work with colleagues to provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child thrives.

Qualifications

• Must hold EYFS Level 3 or equivalent.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or higher.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a key group of children within the appropriate staff-to-child ratio, supporting their development and wellbeing.
• Plan engaging experiences that promote development and curiosity.
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills.
• Maintain accurate daily routines and developmental records using the setting's online system.
• Record and update developmental observations linked to EYFS statements.
• Prepare termly reports on development and attainment.
