Job summary

Cherry Pips Nursery, part of Cherry Orchard Primary Academy, is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to lead a newly formed team and deliver high-quality, flexible childcare for children from 3 years old.

Aligned with Leigh Academies Trust safeguarding policy, you will deputise for the Nursery Manager, mentor staff, maintain accurate records, support admissions and occupancy, and foster a warm, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge and safeguarding know-how required.
• Experience leading early years teams and mentoring staff.
• Understanding of childcare regulations and records.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for Nursery Manager and mentor staff.
• Maintain high standards of care and track child development.
• Engage with parents and provide progress updates.
• Oversee resources, admissions, and occupancy.
