Responsibilities

• Understand the school’s aims, priorities and curriculum requirements.
• Plan and prepare courses and lessons.
• Teach pupils according to their educational needs including setting and marking work.
• Promote the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and groups assigned.
• Provide oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to pupils and groups.
• Use data to identify underachieving pupils and implement plans of action.
• Communicate and consult with the parents of pupils.
