Are you an ambitious and experienced Early Years teacher looking for the next step in your career?

An exciting opportunity has become available. Sacred Heart Primary School are looking for an EYFS teacher for our Reception Class. This post requires an experienced teacher who has the skills to use their knowledge and experience to teach our Reception Class.

Sacred Heart Primary School is a two form-entry primary school in Tipton for children from 3 to 11 years of age.

Our vision is to develop young people who will have active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, cultural and physical. We are a richly diverse community, and pride ourselves on our highly inclusive practice, endorsed by achieving the Sandwell Inclusion Quality Mark for the second time at the highest level (Enhanced level).

Our Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated teacher who is committed to their own professional development and raising standards within the school.

We are looking to appoint someone with a starting date of September 2025 or as soon as possible.

  • Is an excellent class teacher with EYFS teaching experience
  • Has high expectations of themselves and learners
  • An organised and inspirational EYFS teacher, who can motivate pupils and staff
  • Works successfully in teams
  • Has a good knowledge of the curriculum and the Early Years Assessment Framework
  • Read Write Inc trained – desired but not essential

Hours:Full Time

Starting Date: September 2025 (subject to satisfactory clearance checks)

Grade: Main Teacher Pay Range to Upper Teachers Pay Range - £31,650 - £49.084 per annum

Location:Sacred Heart Primary School, Sedgley Road East, Tipton, DY4 8UH
