Salary: MPS (Inner London M1 – M6)

Hours: Full Time

We are looking to appoint an excellent experienced teacher who has high expectations of attainment and has the passion to work in our setting. We will work with you to achieve high standards for our children. Each week your class will be taught Music, Computing, Dance, PE, Art, Design and Technology by a range of specialist teachers.

This affords all of our class teachers/subject leads additional non-teaching time. You will teach the core curriculum. You will enjoy the support of a well-organised, positive and friendly team of professional colleagues. All our teachers have a whole school leadership role.

We welcome applications from ECTs.

Main purpose of the position:

  • To deliver outstanding teaching and learning, ensure their pupils achieve excellent results, and be a role-model/impact on the school more widely
  • To promote and safeguard the welfare of the pupils
  • To take responsibility for the education and welfare of a designated class of children in accordance with the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document, having due regard to the requirements of the National Curriculum and LA and school policies.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work programmes for all children in the designated class, within the framework of national and school policies
  • To maintain assessment records and report on pupils’ progress to senior staff and to parents and carers, in accordance with school policy

Qualifications / Experience

  • QTS
  • Experience of teaching EYFS
  • Understand The teaching and learning cycle, the varying needs of the children and how different children learn
