Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an EYFS Class Teacher for a September 2026 start in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The role is full-time and fixed-term, with pay dependent on experience and a strong emphasis on nurturing early language, literacy and social development.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver a language-rich EYFS curriculum, support children with a wide range of needs including SEND, and work as part of a collaborative, supportive staff team in a primary school

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in EYFS, especially Reception.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters.
• Passion for early childhood development and play-based learning.
• Ability to create engaging, language-rich learning environments.
• Supports children with diverse needs including SEND.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning across Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Support development of communication, literacy, numeracy, physical and social skills.
• Create an inclusive classroom and foster strong relationships with children and families.
• Work collaboratively with the school staff.
