EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant


Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire


Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rushden, Northamptonshire. These full-time positions are available to start immediately or from September 2025.

You will be supporting children in the EYFS and KS1 phases, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences. A key focus of the role will be providing targeted support to pupils with SEND, both in class and in small groups.

  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting, ideally in EYFS/KS1

  • A calm, positive and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs

  • Ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils and staff

  • A team player who is flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting all learners
