Job summary

EY in Belfast invites graduates to join the Technology Graduate Programme to shape the future of technology-led transactions. You’ll help clients assess technology risks and identify value creation opportunities, working in high-performing teams on fast-paced transactions and transformations across sectors.

You’ll develop future-focused skills through coaching, hands-on experience and formal learning, with exposure to technology landscape assessments, diligence processes and business development

Responsibilities

• Assess the target business' technology landscape, including strategy, software, IT applications and infrastructure, costs and cybersecurity risks.
• Gain exposure to the deal/investment process, including diligence, valuation, stakeholders, bidder meetings and negotiations.
• Assist with wider practice development tasks from recruitment to learning and development and business development activities such as pitches and presentations.
• Work on a wide range of pre-deal service offerings.
• Develop skills through hands-on experience, coaching and formal learning.

Programme overview:

On the Technology Graduate Programme, you’ll shape the future with confidence by helping corporate and private equity clients assess technology risks and identify value creation opportunities. You’ll work in high-performing teams on fast-paced transactions and transformations, gaining exposure to a range of sectors and service offerings. As a Shaper of the future, you’ll build future-focused skills while delivering real impact for clients and society.

What you will be doing:

• Assess the target business' technology landscape including technology strategy, software products and platforms, IT applications and infrastructure, technology costs and conduct cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Gain exposure to the deal/investment "engine" including the diligence process, valuation process, stakeholders involved, bidder meetings and the deal negotiation process.
• Assist with wider practice development tasks from recruitment through to learning and development as well as business development activities such as preparing pitches and presentations.
• Work on a wide range of pre-deal service offerings.
