The Work

You will work with a high-performing team on diverse global and local projects, offering continuous learning and achievement opportunities.

The Opportunity

We seek Education Practice Engagement Managers to lead buy- and sell-side engagements across various Education sub-sectors, including early years, schools, higher education, vocational training, education services, ed-tech, and government sectors, in B2B, B2C, and B2G models.

This role offers rapid career progression in Education sector strategy, requiring a blend of commercial diligence, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for Education topics being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client projects, shape deliverables, and develop client and team relationships
• Develop proposals and lead pursuit efforts
• Contribute to thought leadership and internal initiatives
• Manage project teams of 4-10 consultants
• Foster an inclusive team culture
• Identify business opportunities and drive sales
• Collaborate across EY teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Participate in internal practice development initiatives
• Mentor and advise junior team members
• Enhance personal skills and enjoy team engagement

Skills and Attributes

Ideal candidates are curious, passionate about solving complex problems, hardworking, and enthusiastic, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong interest in Education. Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, or related fields
• Project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Analytical expertise
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Passion for Education sector and relevant experience
