Extrusion Operative - Shifts

Role: Extrusion Operative

Location: Poole

Salary / Rate of pay: £14.45ph inclusive of holiday pay

Platinum Recruitment are recruiting for multiple Manufacturing businesses in this Poole area and we have opportunities for an Extrusion Operative on a temporary basis.

This role is panama SHIFT work on a rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm /10pm-6am.

What's involved?

1. Responsible for the running of Extrusion machinery
2. Monitoring the machinery to achieve output targets
3. Working at a fast pace to keep up with production schedules
4. Check, measure & record sheet parameters
5. Dismantling of scrap & unused materials
6. Following health & safety protocol
7. Position materials accordingly to reduce waste & costs
8. Raise any issues or defects to make corrections for subsequent extrusions

You MUST HAVE previous extrusion operative experience to be considered for this role.
