Willowbrook Homecare is seeking an Extra Care Support Worker to join the Littleborough service at Hare Hill, providing compassionate, client-centred support to residents in their own homes and within the Extra Care setting.

The role involves visiting residents, assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily living tasks, with emphasis on dignity and respect. Training, induction, and a flexible 30-hour week are offered, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential, full induction/training provided.
• Able to provide personal care, support with meals and daily activities.
• Good communication with residents, care coordinators and management.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents within our Extra Care Services as directed.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Assist with medication, meals, repositioning and domestic tasks.
• Share information with Team Leader/Manager.
• Complete paperwork and follow company procedures.
• Participate in induction and regular training programmes.

Shift/Hours: 30 Hours a week ( flexible to suit the needs of the service, between 7 am-10 pm).

Rate of pay: To be discussed at the Interview / Next stage – depending on experience.

The role:

We are recruitingkeen and enthusiastic Care Support Workers to work in our Extra Care Service, located in Hare Hill, Littleborough, to ensure that the residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion, alongside supporting activities in the community and within our Extra Care Services.

Job specification

• Visit residents within our Extra Care Services, at times directed by care coordinators and management.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
• Share necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Fully comply with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promote the aims of the Company.
• Participate in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
