Position: Care Home Worker

Shifts: Zero-Hour Contract — Various Shifts Available, between Monday – Sunday, AM/PM/Nights

Contract and Pay: Zero-Hour Contract; Weekly Pay and Pension.

What You Will Do
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Support Daily Living: Help with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Offer Companionship: Provide emotional support and connection to reduce isolation.
  • Conduct Wellbeing Checks: Regular checks to ensure safety, comfort, and needs are met.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including privacy, health and safety, and care standards.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and share ideas to enhance services and care processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience in Care: Previous care experience is preferred, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
  • Positive Attitude: Friendly, supportive demeanour with a genuine passion for assisting those in need.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families.
  • Collaborator: Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to varying needs.
  • Diligence: Manage care tasks and wellbeing checks with care and professionalism.
  • Background Checks: Willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
