Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people across various London Boroughs, including Harrow, Brent, Tower Hamlets, Bromley, and Wandsworth. We seek a highly motivated individual to oversee the Activities Team, which delivers a stimulating and relevant range of activities and events for our clients. The role involves developing activities collaboratively to meet clients’ goals, improve wellbeing, and enhance social inclusion.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and creative, capable of building links with the local community, accessing resources, and exploring new opportunities. A genuine interest in working with older adults at risk and a commitment to diversity are essential.

You should be well-organized, efficient, and possess excellent communication and IT skills (especially Word, Excel, Publisher). An approachable, warm, and enthusiastic manner is important. The role requires working both in a team and independently, using your initiative. A core part of your role will be overseeing activity support workers and sessional workers, so leadership and management skills are essential.

In return, we offer interesting and varied work with visible and supportive management from our Senior Team.

The role is based at our services in Tower Hamlets, Bromley, Wandsworth, Harrow, and Brent, with travel across the city as needed. Our services are accessible via underground, DLR, or railway. Working hours are generally 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends requiring flexibility.

We welcome applications from talented individuals interested in this rewarding role. For a chat about the position, contact Mahip Singh (Service Director) via email at mahip.singh@creativesupport.co.uk or call 07815 518 847.

Vacancy Reference Number: 82664

Applications must be submitted through the Creative Support website using the reference number above. Full training is provided, along with the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Benefits include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 33 days of annual leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS.

We are an inclusive, anti-racist organization—Stonewall Diversity Champion, Disability Confident Employer, and recent Investors in People Gold award recipient.

Applications are reviewed as received. We do not provide feedback for unsuccessful applications. Only candidates eligible to work in the UK are considered.
