Primaire Consulting is partnered with an automation specialist actively seeking an experienced Automation Sales Engineer to expand their presence in the North West region.

You will work for a highly regarded company, managing an established patch, with the challenge of maintaining existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an existing sales area, developing relationships with local and strategic accounts.
• Drive profitable growth within the territory.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with senior management in customer accounts.
• Understand and define customer requirements.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by providing tailored solutions.
• Report on customer needs, bookings, competition, and market trends.

Requirements:

• Electrical automation background is essential.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of cold calling and receiving tasks from the branch manager.
• Technically proficient in electrical and automation systems.
• Excellent communication skills, professional in calls and face-to-face interactions.
• Ability to plan and execute sales strategies at branch and national levels.
• Comfortable with calling non-buying, new, and potential customers to arrange meetings.
• HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering preferred.
• Customer-centric sales approach.
• Works well under pressure.
• Proficient in IT tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
