Mission

Join Schneider Electric’s UK&I Zone Marketing team to help drive strategic marketing, thought leadership, and executive communications. This role is ideal for a digitally savvy communicator with strong planning skills and a strategic mindset. You’ll work across a broad remit of communications strategies—from end user marketing and demand generation to thought leadership and PR, strategic partnerships, and executive level communications.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and operationalise the Segment & Brand thought leadership and external content strategy in close collaboration with Marketing, business units, and Government Affairs
  • Lead the PR relationship and own accountability and outcomes for PR spend
  • Collaborate with Segment Managers and the Partnerships & Innovation Hub Manager to amplify strategic sales enablement initiatives
  • In collaboration with peer function, develop and operationalise internal executive communications strategy
  • Own the strategic definition of digitally-forward integrated marketing and communications campaigns, aligned to commercial priorities – collaborate with Digital & Marcom teams to execute
  • Draft high-quality written content including executive messaging, thought leadership articles, and PR materials
  • Coordinate with digital team, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and to a high standard
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, spanning recommendations and outcomes reporting
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure alignment and impact
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in marketing, communications, or related roles (agency or in-house)
  • Commercial marketing experience with excellent business insight
  • Strong planning and organisational capabilities
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with a bias for action and outcomes
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and matrixed environments
  • Self-starter with a solutions focus
  • Ability to influence others
  • Digitally fluent across platforms and tools
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and PowerPoint building skills
