We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Industrial Cleaning Team Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Stevenage.

As a Industrial Cleaning Team Supervisor you'll:

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive industrial cleaning across campus, including external and internal areas
• Perform tasks such as jet washing, high-level cleaning, window and glass cleaning and upholstery care
• Lead as the subject matter expert working at height operations, ensuring safety and compliance
• Manage Permit to Work processes and promote a zero-harm safety culture and oversee third-party contractors, risk assessments, and all relevant health and safety documentation
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and client requirements; maintain accurate records and SOPs
• Support GxP/GMP laboratory cleaning procedures
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and reactive requests via ServiceNow
• Manage and develop the ICT team, ensuring training, performance, and HR issues are handled effectively
• Assist with asset management and preventative maintenance
• Drive operational excellence, safety, and high standards
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure service quality

What we're looking for

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Valid UK Driving License
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance
• Proactive and highly organized
• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal
• IT proficiency in Microsoft Office, Permit to Work systems, Salesforce (Salus), and SAP

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• COSHH certification
• Working at Height certification
• Confined Spaces training
• Ladder training
• GxP experience
