Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking an experienced Exterior Engineer to lead the design and development of automotive exterior systems from concept to production. You will own bumpers, grilles, exterior finishers and underfloor components, collaborating with engineering, quality and suppliers to meet milestones.

This role requires strong CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE skills, knowledge of injection moulding, and experience with APQP, engineering release, and change management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Exterior Engineer or Body Exterior Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of bumper systems, grilles, exterior trim or underfloor components.
• Proficiency with CATIA V6 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
• Experience of plastic injection moulding, tooling and automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of APQP, engineering release, change management and supplier management.

Exterior Engineer - Automotive

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Exterior Engineer to join a major automotive engineering programme developing next-generation passenger vehicles.

You will lead the design and development of automotive exterior systems from concept through to production, taking ownership of bumpers, grilles, exterior finishers and underfloor systems. Working with engineering, quality and supplier teams, you will deliver robust, high-quality solutions that meet programme milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead exterior systems design and product development
• Manage APQP activities, engineering release and change management
• Support supplier management, verification and validation activities
• Drive technical issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, weight and regulatory requirements

Requirements
