Contechs Consulting Limited is seeking Graduate Automotive Engineers to kick start their careers in the automotive industry. Successful candidates will work on site in Basildon, engaging directly with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Graduate Automotive Engineers Needed

Thinking about kick starting your career in the automotive industry? If you are recently graduating with a degree or 2:1 in Engineering, Motorsport or Automotive, we have positions for you.

Job Type: Permanent or contract (Long-term)

Salary: £25,000 per annum (permanent) or £16.00–£17.00 per hour (contract)

Clients: Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers; positions are onsite at production plants.

Location: Essex or West Midlands.

You will need a 2:1 or higher degree (or final-year placement/dissertation) in any of the following areas:

• Engineering / Motorsport or Automotive

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of technical issues and develop technology within the team environment, interfacing directly with attribute teams, component areas, manufacturing, marketing, sales and service.


• Apply system engineering experience in Powertrain, Body, Electrical, Chassis, etc.


• Demonstrate sound technical knowledge of key vehicle systems and whole-vehicle engineering.


• Be qualified to degree level and computer literate.


• Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Education Required

Minimum 2:1 degree with relevant experience in the automotive sector.
