Job summary

GPS Healthcare is seeking General Practitioners for its Extended Access Service on a permanent contract. You will see pre-booked patients, face to face and by telephone, with time for clinical admin built into every session. No home visits or routine admin duties.

Sessions are fixed weekly, offering stability and flexible evening or weekend work. You will be supported by a team including Clinical Pharmacists, ANPs and Social Prescribers, with mentoring and on-site cover across GPS Healthcare

Responsibilities

• See pre-booked patients, face to face and by telephone
• Time for clinical admin built into every session
• No home visits and no routine administrative duties
• Mentoring and clinical support from a named partner
• On-site reception or security cover during all evening and Saturday sessions
• GP Workflow Administrators and an Acute Care Team supporting GPs and patients
• Practices using SystmOne with electronic prescribing and referrals
