Job Description:

BMD is currently seeking applicants for a range of traineeships in Civil Construction within the Rockhampton to Gladstone Regions. You’ll get paid while you learn, and gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a civil construction worker or labourer with Australia’s largest privately-owned civil contractor!

Qualified civil construction workers are in high demand for major infrastructure projects such as pipelines, roadways and dams. What you’ll bring to the role:

• A good work ethic and strong desire for a career in civil construction
• A positive “can do” attitude, reliable and punctual
• A desire to learn new skills and be willing to complete all modules required as part of Certificate II or III in Civil Construction
• The ability and willingness to follow safety and compliance work practices
• Be physically fit and be able to perform manual, labour-intensive work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
• Car licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)
• Construction White Card (desirable)
