The Opportunity

This is an expression of interest to join Stantec as a Process Engineer in the Water Sector.

We are working in partnership with a variety of clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions by applying new ways of working. We aim to think differently, challenge conventional approaches, and collaborate within teams of industry professionals to meet industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges.

We have exciting plans and are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with experience in Clean Water or Wastewater to join our offices in Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill, or Southampton in the South of England.

As a Process Engineer at Stantec, you will lead process design on projects across multiple clients in the sector. You should have experience working on projects at all stages of design, including process modelling, mass balances, P&IDs, control philosophies, and troubleshooting. You will contribute to our digital delivery strategy, providing solutions, advice, and ensuring successful project outcomes for our clients.

Working with our global team of experts, you will use your knowledge to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions. You will also mentor other Process Engineers, supporting their development into leaders in the field.

About You

• Prior experience in delivering process engineering design within the water sector, focusing on Clean Water or Wastewater treatment.
• Likely a Chartered Engineer with a relevant institution, with experience working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
• This role offers the opportunity to support a variety of projects across the water sector, leveraging Stantec’s global network to exceed client expectations.
