Job description

Expression of Interest - Senior Mechanical Engineer - Water Sector, London

This is an expression of interest ahead of AMP 8. We are open to speaking with Senior Mechanical Engineers interested in joining our Water team in the South of England. Roles can be based in London, Reading, or High Wycombe. You will provide mechanical design services for a range of projects, contributing throughout the project lifecycle from feasibility to construction support.

You will collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes and community benefits. Mentoring less experienced team members is also part of the role.

About You

You should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Chartered (or on the way to Chartership) or Incorporated status is preferred, along with experience in mechanical design. Familiarity with producing technical outputs such as design specifications, pump and aeration system sizing, and piping & instrumentation diagrams is essential. Experience in the Water sector is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates from energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors are also encouraged to apply.
