Expression of Interest - Senior Mechanical Engineer - Water Sector, High Wycombe

This is an expression of interest for Senior Mechanical Engineers interested in joining the Water team at Stantec in the South of England. The role can be based in London, Reading, or High Wycombe and involves providing mechanical design services for various projects, from feasibility to construction support.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, preferably Chartered or on route to Chartership, with experience in mechanical design, including producing technical outputs like design specifications, and familiarity with collaborative planning and design of solutions. Experience in the Water sector is advantageous but not essential; candidates from energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Engaging in the entire project lifecycle, including feasibility, detailed design, and site investigations.
• Collaborating with project managers, technical leaders, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes.
• Mentoring less experienced team members.
