Job Description:

Base Location: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Orkney, London or Offshore (as required)

Business Unit: Part of Xodus Group, Evolv Energies specializes in major international projects, providing integrated perspectives and expertise to support offshore developers, investors, and the construction and installation supply chain through various project phases, mainly related to offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy transition projects.

Role: We are seeking Engineers to work on offshore wind and power transmission projects, focusing on subsea cable installation and T&I (Monopiles & TPs) scopes. You will be responsible for engineering deliverables within your discipline, either office-based or with offshore/site work opportunities.

Requirements:

Engineering Disciplines (all levels):

  • Electrical & Power Systems Engineering
  • Geotechnical Engineering
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide multidisciplinary engineering expertise to support projects and tenders.
  • Prepare and deliver engineering inputs, designs, calculations, reports, and specifications.
  • Ensure deliverables meet company and client standards, maintaining quality assurance.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering challenging targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Role Requirements:
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience or transferable skills in offshore wind, subsea cables, and energy transition sectors.
  • Interest in offshore wind and energy transition projects.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards it, with detailed sector experience across project phases.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ standards and UK CDM regulations.
  • Interest in developing relationships internally and externally.
