Job description

You will hold responsibility for working and liaising with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community. You will help mentor and guide less experienced members within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer who is ideally Chartered or Incorporated with the IMechE with experience in mechanical design.
  2. You will be experienced in producing technical outputs such as technical specifications, sizing and designing pumping systems and aeration systems, schedules, reports, and familiar with collaborative planning reviews and designs of solutions.
  3. You will be able to provide engineering input and design outputs in collaboration with other disciplines, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
  4. To be successful, you will have strong communication skills and be able to deliver technical presentations to clients and other design engineers, as well as participate in collaborative design discussions, including technical workshops, safety reviews such as HAZOPs and ALMs.
  5. Experience in the Water sector is advantageous, but we are also interested in candidates with experience in the energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors in a mechanical engineering capacity.
  6. Most importantly, you will embody and support our values of client focus, designing with community in mind, collaboration, and service excellence.
