Sir Robert McAlpine is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead rigorous design management across a major healthcare programme in the Crewe area. You will ensure compliant, cost-efficient design solutions, support with submissions, and engage closely with clients to meet their needs.
In this role you will verify Employer's Requirements, drive value-driven design improvements, and collaborate with planning teams and external stakeholders to deliver compliant solutions for the Leighton
The Design team will deliver technically compliant, cost-efficient design solutions as part of the new Hospitals 2.0 programme. You'll assist with submissions and have an excellent appreciation of the clients' needs, ensuring that all questions have been answered in full, providing a commercial solution with the best possible chance of success.
This is a major opportunity to join the team at the early stages of one of the UK's most significant healthcare programmes. The new hospital will replace the existing Leighton Hospital and will be delivered using the Hospital 2.0 approach, bringing together standardised design, digital innovation, clinical leadership and collaborative delivery to create a modern healthcare environment for patients, staff and the wider community.
